Bringing a Hill Country Vision to Life
Veramendi was designed as a naturally inviting Hill Country community with parks, trails, and outdoor spaces spread across thousands of acres. ASA Properties wanted the landscape to reflect the character of the region while preserving and reintroducing native plant life.
Texas EcoGrow partnered with the developer and their landscape architect to install turf, planting, irrigation, hardscape, pavilions, sidewalks, playscapes, entry features, and fencing throughout the initial phase. The goal was to deliver a cohesive landscape that blended natural beauty with functional community spaces.

The Challenge
The Veramendi site spans varied terrain with shifting elevations and multiple construction zones active at the same time. This required careful planning and steady coordination to keep work moving efficiently across the property.
Site conditions added complexity. Grading inconsistencies, tight transitions, and ADA requirements needed precise adjustments to maintain both safety and design intent. Large open areas demanded miles of irrigation and planting that had to be installed accurately and in the correct sequence.
The project needed to meet a firm timeline and strict quality standards set by the developer and the landscape architect.

Our Approach
Texas EcoGrow assigned an experienced project manager and field lead to oversee all installation work. Weekly on site construction meetings kept everyone aligned on schedules, materials, and upcoming phases.
Crews installed turf, native plantings, and extensive irrigation systems across large park areas while coordinating with other trades throughout the development. Clear staging and sequencing allowed the project to move forward without delays.
Hardscape features such as sidewalks, pavilions, playscapes, rock screen walls, and signage required precise layout and grading. When elevation issues arose, we collaborated with ASA Properties and the landscape architect to adjust designs while protecting ADA compliance and budget goals.
One example was a grading conflict at a park pavilion pad. Our team proposed adding steps to the surrounding play area. The adjustment solved the grade issue and improved the visual appeal of the space.
Throughout the project we redirected resources as needed, adapted to weather conditions, and maintained steady communication to ensure consistent progress.

Results
The initial phase of Veramendi was completed on schedule and delivered the authentic Hill Country environment the developer envisioned. Plantings, hardscape, and irrigation were installed cleanly and aligned with the landscape architect’s design.
All work met the client’s budget and quality expectations. Grading challenges were resolved without compromising design intent or delaying progress. The finished spaces reflect the natural character of the region and provide an inviting foundation for future development.
ASA Properties expressed strong appreciation for the partnership and the quality of the completed installation.
